PHOENIX — U.S. Congressman Andy Biggs expressed appreciation to the Arizona Chinese community following his attendance at a recent Chinese Chamber of Commerce banquet, praising the event’s atmosphere and community spirit while also hinting at his political aspirations.

In a message sent after the banquet, Biggs thanked the organizers for the invitation, noting that he and his wife, Cindy, were honored to attend. He described the evening as “a tremendous event filled with spirit, community, and great hospitality.”

Biggs added a forward-looking remark that drew attention, stating he looks forward to attending next year’s banquet “as Governor,” signaling his continued interest in higher statewide office.

A Prominent Conservative Voice in Arizona

Andy Biggs is a Republican congressman representing Arizona in the U.S. House of Representatives. First elected to Congress in 2016, he has been a leading figure within the conservative wing of the Republican Party and previously served as chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, a group known for advocating limited government and fiscal restraint.

Before his time in Congress, Biggs held leadership roles in the Arizona Legislature, including serving as president of the Arizona Senate. His long-standing involvement in state and national politics has made him a well-recognized figure among Arizona voters.
