OCA Greater Phoenix to Host 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Arizona Biltmore

The OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates Greater Phoenix Chapter has announced its 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, set to take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club.

Founded in 1973, OCA is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well-being of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI). The Greater Phoenix Chapter continues that mission locally by mentoring, educating and empowering youth, preparing them to become future community leaders.

The upcoming tournament aims to raise funds for youth leadership development programs, including the Asian Pacific Youth Advocates Leadership Summit and internship opportunities. Proceeds will also support the launch of a new AAPI History and Culture curriculum project designed to expand awareness and representation in local education.

In addition, this year’s event will benefit two community-focused organizations: Janice’s Women’s Center, which provides a safe haven for women experiencing domestic violence, and Ruth’s Place, which supports mental health initiatives within the community.

Organizers say the tournament will offer more than just a day on the greens. Participants can expect entertainment, local vendors and a silent auction, all while contributing to causes that address youth empowerment, mental health awareness and domestic violence prevention.

Event schedule:

  • 7:00 a.m. – Registration and Silent Auction

  • 8:00 a.m. – Shotgun Start

  • 12:30 p.m. – Lunch

Business leaders and community members are encouraged to participate or become sponsors. Organizers note that the event provides valuable visibility for businesses among golfers, sponsors and supporters from across the Greater Phoenix area.

For sponsorship details or additional information, interested parties may contact Astria Wong at 602-524-6728 or email directorocagpc@gmail.com.

Organizers emphasize that community participation is essential to sustaining impactful programs and building a brighter future for the next generation of AAPI leaders.
