GPCCC celebrates the Year of the Horse
When you’re far from home, does Lunar New Year make you miss home even more—
the warmth of family reunions, the joy of visiting relatives and friends,
and that familiar festive atmosphere filled with blessings and celebration?
Greater Phoenix Chinese Christian Church (GPCCC) warmly invites you to gather with our church family and celebrate the Year of the Horse together this Lunar New Year.
Here, the spirit of the New Year comes alive—
through a special Lunar New Year concert
We are honored to welcome the Thorns & Fire Music Ministry from Chicago to present a Lunar New Year concert themed “A More Beautiful Homeland.”
What makes this concert truly special is that all the music is original. The songwriters themselves will take the stage—not only to perform these beautiful melodies, but also to share the real-life stories behind each song:
stories of finding direction in seasons of confusion, discovering hope in hardship, feeling companionship in loneliness, and searching for the meaning of life through growth and struggle.
“Finding the musical language of a generation, telling the faith stories of a generation.”
This is more than a performance—it is a deep and heartfelt exchange about life, searching, and coming home.
These songs tell the shared stories of our generation—of tears and grace, trials and redemption.
They are our songs—songs that resonate deeply and speak straight to the heart.
Here, the spirit of the New Year is also found in joyful togetherness
Beyond a moving musical experience, we have prepared a thoughtfully curated Lunar New Year celebration for you and your loved ones:
📸 Family Portraits
A large festive backdrop will be set up on site. A professional photography team will offer free high-quality family and group photos—capture your most joyful New Year memory right here in the desert!

and a deep resonance of the soul.
