12月6日，老挝政府在博胶省金三角经济特区木棉之星酒店举行授勋仪式，向金三角经济特区管理委员会主席赵伟先生授予“国家三级发展贡献勋章”，这是老挝政府向为国家发展作出突出贡献的境内外机构或个人颁发的高级别荣誉。
On December 6, the Lao government held a solemn medal ceremony at the Dok Ngiew Kham Hotel in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, Bokeo Province. During the event, Mr.Zhao Wei, Chairman of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone Administrative Committee, was awarded the"National Level 3 Development Contribution Medal."The Lao government grants this prestigious honor to domestic and international organizations or individuals contributing to the country’s development.
授勋仪式上，老挝琅南塔省省长翁沙瓦·西潘敦先生代表老挝国家政府，向赵伟先生授予勋章并颁发荣誉证书，并对金三角经济特区长期以来对老挝国家经济社会发展所做出的重要贡献表示真诚感谢。
金三角经济特区是老挝政府批准设立的国家级经济特区，也是面积最大、投资额最高、发展最好的样板特区。赵伟主席带领团队，秉持着“逢山开路、遇水搭桥”的坚韧精神，从荒野和农田出发，历经17载的辛勤耕耘，在湄公河畔打造出一座新兴的旅游城市。特区在基础设施建设、就业机会创造、帮助人民群众脱贫致富、产业转型升级以及区域合作等多个领域，都取得了令人瞩目的成就，成为了老挝国家经济发展的标杆与典范。
At the ceremony, Mr. Onesavanh Siphandone, Governor of Luang Namtha Province, presented the medal and certificate of honor to Mr.Zhao Wei on behalf of the Lao government. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone's significant contributions to Laos's economic and social development.
The Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone is a national-level economic zone approved by the Lao government. It is the country's largest, most invested, and most successfully developed model zone. Under the leadership of Chairman Zhao Wei, the team has adhered to a resilient spirit of"building roads through mountains and bridges over rivers."Over 17 years, starting from wilderness and farmland, they have created an emerging tourist city on the banks of the Mekong River. The zone has achieved remarkable milestones in infrastructure development, job creation, poverty alleviation, industrial transformation and upgrading, and regional cooperation, becoming a benchmark and model for Laos' Economic growth.
翁沙瓦省长还特别感谢了赵伟先生为琅南塔省公安厅提供的总金额为13亿基普的资金支持，表示这笔资金对于提升琅南塔省公安战线的安保能力、维护社会和谐与稳定具有重要意义。
Governor Onesavanh also extended special thanks to Mr.Zhao Wei for providing financial support totaling 1.3 billion Kip to the Public Security Department of Luang Namtha Province. He noted that the funds are crucial in enhancing the security capabilities of the provincial police force and maintaining social harmony and stability.
赵伟主席表示，他深感荣幸能够代表金三角经济特区接受这一崇高荣誉，并衷心感谢老挝国家政府对他以及特区工作的认可。主席强调，特区之所以能够取得今天的成绩，离不开老挝政府的坚定支持和深切信任。下一步，特区将努力改善琅南塔省和博胶省的交通条件，并进一步推广“公司+农户”肉牛养殖惠农扶贫项目，帮助更多的老挝百姓摆脱贫困，走向富裕。

Chairman Zhao also called on all management staff in the zone to stay true to their mission, face challenges bravely, and continue striving to fulfill the promise of"Turning the land borrowed from the Lao people into a thriving city for the Lao people."He pledged to contribute further to the economic and social development of Laos.
